Verona Island man indicted on meth lab, arson charges

ELLSWORTH - A Verona Island man accused of operating a methamphetamine laboratory at his home on Bridges Road has been indicted by a Hancock County grand jury.

Craig Kneeland, 28, also is suspected of failing to report a fire in his home that was set off by the meth-making operation.

 

Kneeland was arrested in April after police received a tip he had been purchasing meth-making materials at a local hardware store.

 

Charges filed agianst him include llegal drug possession, operating a meth lab, arson and aggravated criminal mischief.
