ALFRED - A man accused of scaring a woman to death is pleading guilty to manslaughter

Carlton young of Sanford was charged with murder in the death of 62-year-old Connie Loucks.

Jury selection in his murder trial was scheduled to begin Monday. Officials say Loucks suffered a heart attack after Young allegedly knocked on her doors and windows during a burglary.

Authorities say Young was part of a burglary ring.

He is accused of breaking into her home with others on March 21, 2015 when she wasn't home.

Police say he returned the next day while she was there.

They say Young was originally charged with murder for causing her fatal heart attack.
