Attorney General Janet Mills wins the Democratic nomination for Governor with 54.07% of the votes after four rounds of ranked-choice vote counting, the Secretary of State confirms.
Jared Golden is the winner of the Democratic congressional primary race with 54.36% of the votes. He hopes to unseat Republican Bruce Poliquin in November to represent Maine's 2nd Congressional District.
The results come eight days after the nation's first use of ranked-choice voting in a statewide election.
