The annual parade, set this year for Sept. 29, raises money for the Bangor Humane Society.
This year's event has a bit of a twist.
There will be two packs led by the top fund-raising team captains from past years and they will be competing against each other, not only trying to raise more money than the other but also trying to build more teams under them.
Overall, the event's goal is to raise $100,000 but each pack has it's own smaller goal.
The Match Made Pack will be raising money to go toward the humane society's adoption program while the Second Chance Pack's funds will go toward vital veterinary and medical care.
