The annual Pixie Harbor Hoopla took over the waterfront on Sunday.
Dozens of fairies, pirates, unicorns and other whimsical creatures of all ages filled the town.
Participants could borrow materials from the "Gnome Depot" to make their very own fairy houses.
While they were hard at work constructing their masterpieces, some of the kids told us what they know about fairies.
"They have pixie dust, they fly," said Cameron and Adelyn, both six years old, who built fairy houses Sunday. "They have wings, they have faces, they are pretty."
Local businesses got involved in the fun as well.
The free event is geared towards helping folks get creative in a family-friendly environment.
