BERWICK - Police said an "improper pass" caused a driver to lose control which killed three occupants including a 7-year-old child on Saturday afternoon.

 

Police said a 31-year-old male from Buxton was driving a 1994 Honda Civic with a 29-year old passenger and a 7-year old passenger who were all deceased on scene.

 

Police said he collided with another vehicle operated by a 46-year-old female of Woburn, Massachusetts with a 73-year-old passenger who was declared dead at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH, according to police.

 

A 22-year-old female passenger of the Honda, the driver of the Ford and two of its passengers, a 49-year-old male, and a 16-year-old female were all transported to area hospitals with injuries which police said are not believed to be life-threatening.

 

The names of those involved are not being released at this time. The crash remains under investigation by the Berwick police department.
