AUBURN - One man has died in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Auburn.

Around 1:00 PM Auburn police and the fire and rescue units said 24-year-old Andrew Jennings of Mechanic falls was speeding traveling eastbound on Minot Avenue passing several vehicles when he struck a westbound vehicle driven by 65-year-old Gina Thompson of Sabattus.

Police said Jennings was then struck by another vehicle driven by 41-year-old Bobby Thibodeau of Mechanic falls, Jennings was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said Thompson was transported to Central Maine Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
