BRIDGEWATER - Five people escaped injury Sunday when the vehicle they were riding in rolled onto its side on a dirt road in northern Maine.

State police say a 16-year-old boy from Bridgewater had four adult passengers as he drove a Jeep Cherokee on East Blaine Road.

Officials said he lost control while driving erratically on the dirt road, causing it to roll when he struck some grass in a ditch.

All of the people involved in the crash walked away without injuries.

The teen driver was summoned for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle. He and his four passengers also were summoned for seatbelt violations.
