Wednesday morning there is relief for the people of Austin, Texas after a weeks-long nightmare comes to an end.
According to our ABC affiliate KVUE, police have shot and killed a suspect in the bombing spree in Austin and surrounding region. The suspect was taken down just north of Austin and close to where police said a suspicious package was found just hours ago.
Federal agents also descended on that scene, along with Austin police. And found the suspect in the city of round rock overnight. There are reports he apparently detonated a device authorities remain concerned that there may be other bombs out there. The recent bombings killed two people and seriously wounded four others.
