Snow Sculpting

WATERVILLE - Most people make snowmen and now angels in the snow, but some local artist are taking their love of snow and turned it into art.

Winners of the national peoples choice award for snow sculpting competition came to Waterville to sculpt leftover snow.

The piece is called fish out of water and they wanted to do something that represents Waterville.

Artist Amanda Bolduc said "It's challenging because it's so warm, but it's turning out good i mean we're doing the best we can with the conditions that we've been given."

She says she hopes they inspire some of the people around them to create their own sculpture.
