BUCKFIELD - A man from Buckfield is facing arson charges after allegedly torching multiple cars.

Cody Kreworuka, 29, is accused of trying to set fire to some vehicles at a convenience store close to his home.

It happened outside Tilton's Market on February 10, and Kreworuka was arrested last week.

Maine State fire investigators said he filled a juice container with kerosene and ignited it before throwing it between some vehicles.

The store manager noticed what was happening and extinguished the flames before it caused too much damage.

Officials said there had been some friction between the store and Kreworuka in the past.

They said he admitted to the crime and is now charged with arson.
