SPCA of Hancock County is holding a cabin fever dance

BAR HARBOR - This winter weather is giving many cabin fever. What better way to get over that then going out dancing for a good cause?

The SPCA of Hancock County is holding a cabin fever dance on March 3rd


At the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel to benefit the local animal shelter.


It's to help fund the cost for animals that are in dire need of specialized medical treatment.


The dance will also be incorporating a special theme in honor of the Oscar's that's right around the corner.


SPCA Director Diana Delossantos said "Yes they're doing an honoring the oscars theme. So you can dress as your favorite character from fiction, non fiction, or come as yourself."


They will also have the popular band "Crown Vics" performing at the dance along with prizes for best dressed.


Tickets can be purchased at the door, $15 dollars each or $25 for two.


And for an additional $99 The Atlantic Oceanside will be offering a "Stay and Play" package which includes overnight accommodations and breakfast for you to enjoy.
