Welcome to housing winter white out event

BANGOR - Welcome to housing home goods bank brought their winter white out event to Shaws supermarket in Bangor this morning.

They collect toilet paper and other paper products and, give them away to people in need.

They help people who are starting out whether it's from coming back from a shelter, coming back from corrections, people who've escaped domestic violence, or even house fires.

Volunteer and founder of the organization Chris Olsen said "It's been wonderfully successful the nice thing about it to is not only are we collecting up items, we're also sharing our little leaflets, and we get calls from months afterwards with people that want to donate things whether it's furniture or other home goods."
