It happened around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning at a Hughes Brothers garage on Main Road North.
An employee of Hughes Brothers reported the fire.
When firefighters arrived at the business, fire was billowing out of the roof and windows.
"We park mixers, concrete trucks, and a big loader that we have," says Hughes Brothers Vice President, Ed Hughes. "There's like four mixers that are in there."
"I haven't been able to get inside to assess the damage yet," he adds. "It definitely will hurt if we can't use them."
Hughes says with the construction season a few months away, they have some time to replace or repair the fire-damaged equipment.
Firefighters had the fire under control around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
No injuries were reported.
The cause remains under investigation.
