An investigation that led to three people being arrested,
"The Hancock County Sheriff's Office, in the last couple of months, had about 12 burglaries in the eastern part of the county," said McFarland. "State police had at least three."
Jacob Richardson,19, was arrested and charged for creating a police standoff and Danny Goodrich, 19, was arrested for bail violations. A female juvenile is also charged for receiving stolen property.
"We do anticipate charing some other individuals in connection with those burglaries and thefts," he said.
Officials are currently investigating DNA they collected. Authorities say they believe some items were sold. They are trying to locate owners of the stolen property so they can come and claim their possessions.
"If they find that they've been broken into, to contact us because we may have acquired some property that's been stolen from a camp," said McFarland.
