Three charged in Bangor kidnapping

BANGOR- A kidnapping in Bangor lands three people in jail Friday evening.

Bangor Police say they made the arrests just after three o'clock Friday afternoon on I-395.


An adult male alleged he was picked up in Brewer and driven to a bank in Bangor, where he was forced to make a fraudulent transaction.


He later escaped and was able to provide police with a vehicle description and registration number.


Isiah Roberts, 30, Jeral Blackmon, 39,and Anthony Foster, 44, all from Georgia, are each charged with kidnapping and Class B felony.


They are being held in Penobscot County Jail and are expected to appear in court on Monday.
