A new wind storm may bring returning power outages Featured

STATEWIDE - Another strong wind storm is hitting Maine today.

It's expected to bring wind gusts around 50 miles per hour. It's also expected to bring a few inches of snow to northern regions and much colder weather for all of us.

Now power crews are getting ready. Emera Maine released a statement saying it's preparing to respond to the latest round of windy weather. They're concerned trees and limbs that were weakened by the recent wind storm could topple and bring down more power lines.

It's not expected to be as strong as the last storm, but people should be prepared in case the lights go out once again.
