Husson students honor Veterans with a special interview

BANGOR - Husson university hosted its annual roll call event today to honor veterans.

Over the past few weeks journalism students conducted a series of video interviews with Korean War veterans asking them about their past war time experience.

Today their stories were shared with the public.

Korean War Veteran Albert Gibson said "And it gives them a little bit of history and the teacher gives us comments that it's live history. So it's an opportunity for the kids to interview us to see what our life was like in the military."

All of the interviews conducted will now be a part of the permanent collection at the library of congress.
