Tuesday, dozens of Bangorians converged on the University of Maine Museum of Art (UMMA) for a marriage of beer and art.
Greendrinks and home brewers of greater Bangor set up shop to hand out samples and help people network. With beer in hand visitors got to take in the museums new exhibits.
Participant Greg Edwards said "If you love local beers, if you love sustainability, if you love supporting the Bangor community, there are a lot of reasons to come out."
UMMA Curator George Klinghorn added "I think it's a wonderful event, a wonderful partnership, happy to be the host. Also, to bring a large diverse audience to the museum tonight."
The event was free, but donations collected go toward Greendrinks' environmental sustainability projects around the city.
