LAWRENCE, MASS. – Two Maine residents are facing drug charges after Massachusetts police say they found more than 200 grams of fentanyl in their vehicle.
Kevin McKinnon, 33, of Mattawamkeag and Robert Dill, 34, of Lincoln were arrested following a traffic stop in Massachusetts on Wednesday night.
A trooper pulled over their van on Route 110 in Methuen, near the Route 93 intersection, for reportedly driving over the solid white line, police said.
Massachusetts State Police said when a trooper got to the car, Dill quickly reached toward the center console.
Inside the console, police say they found 220 grams of fentanyl.
Police charged both men with drug trafficking, and they were scheduled to be arraigned at Lawrence District Court in Massachusetts.
