Wellness expo brings crowds to Bangor health providers Featured

BANGOR - Folks looking for ways to get healthy after a winter spent in hibernation had a chance to meet with health professionals Wednesday.

The inaugural "Fusion Gets Fit" wellness expo drew around 100 visitors and 25 local organizations, connecting Bangorians with a healthier lifestyle, a chiropractor, or even just a gym membership.

Organizers say spring is the perfect time to get out of the house and get healthy.

Sarah Dubay of Fusion: Bangor said, "Now is really the time, it's starting to wake up outside, I think all of us are starting to wake up a little bit and get more active."

Fusion also hosts multiple intramural leagues throughout the year in Bangor, including volleyball, which will be starting up this month.
