“There were shots, and i just heard someone scream, and that was it,” a neighbor told us Monday.
Bangor officers were dispatched to Ohio Street right around 3:00 p-m. What started as a limited police presence quickly grew to include a canine unit and a mobile investigation van.
A search area was expanded at around 6:00 p-m, and an hour later, Bangor Police put out a press release and gave limited details to reporters about the investigation.
I just remember the initial argument that was happening,” said a neighbor, while out for a run. “It’s not too unfamiliar on this street and stuff like that, but the shots after and the lady yelling at the guy after, you know, it puts you on edge.”
Another resident said, “It’s concerning, like for kids around the area… It’s devastating, especially on Easter.”
No charges have yet been filed.
