WASHINGTON COUNTY – Two men are accused of bringing illegal drugs into the state to sell in Washington County.
Rafael Santiago, 18, of Brooklyn, Connecticut and Marco Serrano, 23, of New Bedford, Massachusetts were both arrested and charged with drug trafficking.
The bust was the result of an investigation conducted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Maine Drug Enforcement Agents.
The two men were suspected of selling heroin and crack cocaine and that’s what police say they found during a search of two homes last night.
They found both crack, heroin and other drug trafficking evidence during raids at home on the County Road in Trescott and on Middle Street in Whitneyville.
