AUGUSTA – Police went to a home on School Street in Augusta Tuesday morning to carry out a probation and parole check on Lindsay Fortin, 28.
They brought along a police K-9 unit that helped determine Fortin wasn’t complying with the conditions of her release. Police said they found drug paraphernalia, 81 grams of heroin and more than $7,800 in cash.
Fortin was arrested and charged with violating her probation.
Police also arrested Brandon Darveau, 24, and charged him with aggravated drug trafficking and criminal forfeiture.
His bail is set at $50,000 cash.
