WATERVILLE – A man wanted for robbing a convenience store in Waterville has been captured in Connecticut.
Emmanual Hurtado, 25, is a suspect in the hold up of a Mobile On-The-Run store on Pleasant Street.
Police said he forced his way in as the manager was preparing to open for the day Saturday and fled with cash and store goods.
According to the Morning Sentinel, Waterville Police suspected he fled out of state and they were right.
Hurtado was apprehended Thursday afternoon after being pulled over for a traffic offense in Connecticut.
Police said he gave a false name, but was identified through fingerprints.
He’s now facing charges in Connecticut, but will eventually be returned to Maine to face robbery charges.
