AUGUSTA – A man from Augusta has been ordered to spend three years in prison for setting fire to a camper trailer in Gardner.
Joseph Manganella, 35, pleaded guilty to arson charges last month and received his sentence on Tuesday.
Authorities said he set fire to a camper owned by his former boss on July 5. The boss and his family had been living in the camper while building a home, but were away when the fire started.
Along with serving three years of an eight year sentence, Manganella has also been ordered to pay $2,500 in restitution to the victims.
