WASHINGTON D.C. – Senator Angus King is the latest lawmaker to speak in support of Maine manufacturer L.L. Bean.
During an ABC News podcast, King said that the company is not political and employs many Mainers, explaining that you aren’t punishing Linda Bean, but instead the workers who make the products.
Some called for a boycott of the company after hearing board member Linda Bean had donated thousands to a pro Donald Trump political action committee.
President Elect Donald Trump and Governor LePage have also spoken in support of L.L. Bean.
