YORK- Two lobster men are uninjured after being saved by the Coast Guard on Friday.
Just after three o’clock on Friday the Coast Guard responded to a MAYDAY call 17 miles off shore from York.
A 45 foot lobster boat was hit with a rogue wave and was quickly sinking.
Upon arrival, the fishermen were in full survival gear and standing on the pilot house.
They were forced to jump in the water and were pulled into the Coast Guard’s boat.
Officers say they did all the right things in the accident.
