AUGUSTA – The 76th Maine Agricultural Trade Show is now underway in Augusta.
People filed into the Augusta Civic Center Tuesday to see the latest equipment and learn about new techniques for farming. More than 3,000 people are expected to turn out for the three-day event.
Coordinator Samantha Howard said “I think a lot of farmers come because this is the only time they can get off the farm. The growing season has ended. They take this opportunity to attend the trainings and network with people to learn what’s going on in the industry and what’s coming in the future.”
The show continues through Thursday and the best part, it’s free to enter.
