MACHIAS – The jury is still deciding the fate of a man accused of murdering an Oakfield couple and setting their home on fire.
The jury discussed the case behind closed doors Tuesday in the trial of Matthew Davis, but were unable to reach a verdict.
However they met in the courtroom to hear testimony again from three witnesses throughout the day.
Monday night, both the prosecution and the defense attempted to sway the jury in their closing arguments.
The jury will meet again Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. in hopes of coming to a conclusion.
