GATLINBURG, TN – An update on the deadly wildfires in Tennessee.
Homes, cars and large parts of forest have been destroyed as a result of the fires that began burning their way through Gatlinburg and Sevier County areas Monday night.
10 people have died and at least 80 have been treated for fire-related injuries.
At least 200 firefighters are working to extinguish the fires reports say crews have been making progress in their efforts.
About 1,400 people evacuating Gatlinburg and nearby pigeon forge officials believe at least 400 homes and businesses have been destroyed or damaged with the number likely to grow.
