BANGOR – Habitat for Humanity officially donated their 18th home in the Bangor area Sunday.
The project was funded by St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Bangor. More than $140,000 were raised by parish members to make this happen.
Over 500 people dedicated their time and efforts to make sure the home was ready to go for the Kessler family
Michelle Kessler said “You’re all an inspiration for me and my daughter, I hope of what generosity looks like and I’m a better person for knowing all of you. So thank you very much and were excited.”
The Kesslers also pitched in on their new home they performed around 200 hours of community service helping build the home.
