ENFIELD – Authorities are investigating what caused a fire that damaged a home in Enfield Thursday.
Officials said no one was at home when the fire started.
Crews were called to 140 Old County Road a little after 10 a.m.. They credit a quick response from several departments to saving the building.
The fire heavily damaged the laundry room and spread to the ceiling and kitchen.
Investigators are working to determine exactly where the fire came from.
