OLD TOWN- A special fundraiser happening at Governor’s Tuesday night to help people get in the back-to-school spirit.
Governor’s in Old Town donated 10 percent of the night’s sales to the Courageous Steps Project. The Courageous Steps Project was founded two years ago by Connor Archer.
Conner has autism and the project is his way of giving back to local programs that helped him.
“It’s important for young children with challenges to get that crucial start that I needed. And it’s important for me to give back and inspire others to do the same,” said Archer.
The next fundraiser will be a raffle at the Riverfest in Old Town next month.
You can also donate by sending a check made out to Courageous Steps Project to P.O. Box 1, Stillwater, Maine, 04489.
