Brewer's first 'Little Free Library' opens

BREWER - The communities first 'Little Free Library' joins a worldwide mission promoting literacy

When you go by Kelly Cotiauxs home at 595 North Main street in Brewer, you'll find a second hand cabinet transformed into a library.

The library has books for both children and adults... And you're invited to stop by and enjoy whatever book you like before returning it.

You can even bring your own book to donate. Brewers 'Little Free Library' joins more than 36 thousand other 'little libraries' in 70 countries around the world.

Cotiaux says "There's tons of them in the country, many around the world, and we need more here in this area. We've got quite a few in Bangor, one in Veazie, some in Orono...but we need more here in Brewer, this is the first one"
