Over 300 kids compete at UMaine for "Destination Imagination" Featured

ORONO - The University of Maine had over 300 kids on the the campus for "Destination Imagination".

 

It's a STEM related 21st Century learning skills based program that had nearly 60 teams competing.

 

 

The program's goal was to teach the students how to succeed in school and in their careers.

 

 

They learned everything such as, project management, time management, team work, how to get along with others, and most importantly, how to set goals.

 

 

State director Chad Reynolds stated this is the state celebration. and added it was there chance to convince judges that they're good enough to qualify for the worlds tournament. That which will happen in Tennessee next month.

 

 

Reynold's also said its all about learning while having fun.
