Founder, Rob Tod, tweeted this morning saying “We are all 6 safe, and headed for a flight out of Paris. A very, very sad day for Brussels.”
The brewmaster, Jason Perkins also tweeted saying “A crazy end to trip events at the airport occurred 5 minutes before we arrived.”
Allagash said six of their employees, including the founder and Perkins, were concluding a business trip that they take each year. It’s a way to celebrate those who have spent five years with the brewery.
The explosions happened as the group was on the way to the airport. The company said everyone is safe and unharmed.
They released a statement saying “This is a very sad day for a city and country that means so much to us.”
