BANGOR – To graduate from John Bapst High School with a special diploma, Kristian Baber was told she had to do a senior design project in the community.
She chose to take part in a Habitat for Humanity project, by decorating 10 year old Aaliyah’s room.
After speaking with Aaliyah, Kristian found and refurbished furniture from around Bangor, and created a color palette to perfectly fit Aaliyah’s wants.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Bangor provided the Umble family their new home Tuesday morning, and the family was ecstatic.
