STATEWIDE – The Maine Department of Transportation is changing its park and ride policies throughout the state.
Officials are implementing new polices for all park and ride lots. There are three changes that will go into effect this week.
Some of those include, trailers and any vehicle longer than 24-feet is now prohibited. Parking for more than 7 days, is not allowed and from now until April 30th, vehicles can’t be left for more than 24 hours at park and ride lots.
They say lots need to bee cleared and sanded for snow removal.
