FRANKLIN COUNTY – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says it received a call early yesterday morning from a woman who said a younger woman showed up her house naked and bleeding from the neck.
The victim told police she and 47 year old Bennie Bowie of Carthage were riding in his pickup truck when they got into an argument. She claims Bowie grabbed her by the hair and slammed her head through the passenger side window which caused a severe cut on her neck.
The victim is now being treated at a hospital and Bowie is on the run. He facing charges including domestic aggravated assault and additional charges could be filed.
