Andrew Badillo joined the ABC 7 and FOX 22 sports team in August 2017.

Before ABC 7 and FOX 22, Andrew graduated from Quinnipiac University with a degree in broadcast journalism. At Quinnipiac, Andrew was a member of the school's student-run television station, Q30 Television, where he served as its general manager, vice president, sports anchor and reporter. He gained experience covering Quinnipiac Athletics and was recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists and College Media Association for his work.

In addition to his experience at Q30, Andrew also gained professional experience at MLB Network and News 12 Connecticut.

Originally from Orangeburg, New York, Andrew is excited to get his career started in Bangor. He is especially eager to get to know the great local sports community in the North Region.

BANGOR - Ever think of picking up a new hobby, perhaps mixed martial arts? Glory Watson gave it a go about a year ago and hasn't looked back.

STATEWIDE - Ellsworth ace, Matt Burnett, and Old Town hurler, Olivia Albert, are among the Mr. Maine baseball and Miss Maine baseball finalists. 

BANGOR - No. 1 Ellsworth beat No. 2 Hermon 9-5 to advance to the Class B title game. 

BREWER - No. 1 Skowhegan softball beat No. 2 Oxford Hills 5-1 in the Class A North championship game. 

BREWER - Leine McKechnie tossed a no-hitter and hit the winning home run in No. 2 PVHS' softball's 6-1 win over No. 4 Stearns. 

BREWER - The Avery Herrick vs. Lanie Perry matchup lived up to its billing, a pitcher's duel.

BANGOR - No. 1 Central Aroostook baseball beat No. 3 Hodgdon baseball 9-8 in extra innings to claim the Class D North championship. 

 

BREWER - It wasn't pretty, but Brewer softball wasn't complaining after beating No. 3 Hermon 12-4 to repeat as Class B North champions.

BREWER - Brewer baseball was back on the practice field just under 24 hours after its epic 13-inning win over Old Town in the Class B North quarterfinals. 

BANGOR - Young basketball players will have quite the treat this summer as former Boston Celtic, Brian Scalabrine, will be making his second straight trip to Bangor.
