Andrew Badillo joined the ABC 7 and FOX 22 sports team in August 2017.

Before ABC 7 and FOX 22, Andrew graduated from Quinnipiac University with a degree in broadcast journalism. At Quinnipiac, Andrew was a member of the school's student-run television station, Q30 Television, where he served as its general manager, vice president, sports anchor and reporter. He gained experience covering Quinnipiac Athletics and was recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists and College Media Association for his work.

In addition to his experience at Q30, Andrew also gained professional experience at MLB Network and News 12 Connecticut.

Originally from Orangeburg, New York, Andrew is excited to get his career started in Bangor. He is especially eager to get to know the great local sports community in the North Region.

ORONO - There are roughly 150 high schools in the state of Maine and hundreds of athletes. But, only one school and only 15 or so kids can say they compete in varsity canoe racing. It's right here in Orono.

BANGOR - Husson baseball split a NAC doubleheader with Thomas Thursday afternoon. 

BANGOR - Bangor football is used to traveling far for its games as it is the only Eastern Maine team in Class A North.

AUGUSTA - The Maine Principal's Association has released its final high school football reclassification proposal. 

ORONO - Coming off its best weekend of the year, Maine baseball is hoping the weather can warm back up for its upcoming home series with UMass Lowell. The Black Bears are also hoping the balmy weather can come with hot bats.

ORONO - It's been a completely different version of Maine baseball this season. The bats have gone cold, but the pitching as gotten hot.

ORONO - Orono athletic director, Mike Archer, has called the school his home for 18 years. He's one of the most respected and well liked athletic administrators amongst his peers and he received some nice recognition this past weekend.

SAN JOSE, California - For the third straight year the Maine Moose will be bringing home a national championship. 

BANGOR - Over 100 trucks dumped huge piles of dirt onto the Cross Insurance Center floor Thursday in preparation for the Traxxas Monster Truck Tour.
