Maine working to restore civility

STATEWIDE - Civility is something people have wanted for thousands of years.

During her interview at noon on Wednesday, Susan Farley learns how to achieve that from Mark Hews, state coordinator for Maine Revives Civility.


Mark Hews is the state coordinator for Maine Revives Civility. Maine was one of four state chosen to participate in a project of the National Institute of Civil Discourse, which aims to help people improve the way they talk and listen to each other so that they can be able to “disagree without being disagreeable.”
