Senate Approves Raw Milk Exemption

Maine farmers would be allowed to sell raw milk direct to consumers, under a bill the Senate passed Wednesday.  The measure would allow farmers to sell small amounts of raw milk without getting a license, as long as they clearly label the milk. The bill now goes to the House of Representatives.

Maine House Overrides Governor's Veto

The Maine house of representatives has voted to override Governor Paul LePage's veto of a bill that would have required school's to teach students CPR and the proper use of a defibrillator.
WINTER HARBOR - In the event of a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear crisis, Maine's 11th Civil Support Team would respond. At the Schoodic Education and Research Center today, the team took part in an exercise that would test their skills.
BANGOR - Budget cuts are now being considered for Bangor's Hammond Street Senior Center.
