BANGOR – The Somerset Snowfest, which highlights winter recreation in the region, starts Friday.
Kristina Cannon, executive director of Main Street Skowhegan, which along with Lake George Regional Park is coordinating the event, joins Susan Farley at noon on Wednesday with some of the details.to share. Activities will include a box sled race, dog sled rides, skating, tubing — and the Northeast’s only equestrian skijoring competition.
