HAMPDEN - Braylee Wildman has been critical to Hampden Academy's success in 2017-2018, and now she is set to take her talents to Bangor for college.

The Husson Eagles announced Wildman will join the women's basketball team next season. She's averaging 8.5 points per game with the Broncos, helping lead them to the No. 1 seed in Class A North. Joining Wildman is Mount View's Andrea Crosby, who is averaged a double-double this past season in Thorndike.

"My first impression when I saw Braylee was that no one would out work her," Husson head coach Kissy Walker said. "As student athletes, [Wildman and Crosby] fit the mold for our team.  They are hardworking, over achievers that love playing basketball."

Wildman believes she can contribute in a multitude of ways for the Eagles, and is excited for the opportunity to play with a bunch of local talent.

"I think i can bring a lot of hard work and rebounding," she said. "So I don't score a lot, but I do the little things that count.
