Maine Hockey Optimistic About Winning at Home

Orono -
A two game series against Merrimack this weekend at the Alfond has the Black Bear hockey team hoping it can snap the season long home losing streak they have going.  "It's a rematch of the series in the Hockey East tournament from last season that we won in 3 games" says coach Tim Whitehead, adding that Connor Riley will be returning to play after dealing with a concussion.  Klas Liedermark is also a possibility to play, though Nick Pryor and Brice O'Connor are both out.  Martin Oullette will get the start in net.  Whitehead says it will also nice to have the student section back from break and in the Alfond.
