OLD TOWN – The Coyotes allowed just one touchdown and forced two turnovers in the win.
Old Town handed Oceanside a 37-6 loss at Victory Field on Monday night. The game was originally scheduled for Sept. 10, but was postponed after four inches of rain fell in Old Town, and there were not enough officials available to play Saturday.
After leading 12-0 at halftime, the Coyotes outscored the Mariners 25-6 in the second half.
Both teams are now 1-1, and tied in the Class C North rankings on Crabtree points.
Old Town travels to Medomak Valley on Sept. 17, while Oceanside hosts York.
