ORONO – UMaine football picked up a new commitment for the upcoming spring season on Saturday.
The program announced that Fofie Bazzie is planning to transfer to Orono from the University of Maryland, where he made eight appearances for the Terrapins over the past two seasons.
Before committing to Maryland, Bazzie was a three-star recruit recognized as one of the top players in the Washington, DC metro area at Quince Orchard High School.
Bazzie will have two year of eligibility left with the Black Bears.
