A thrilling night for Maine hockey at UMass Lowell. Battling for their playoff lives, they had a 1-0 lead going into the third. That's even after two 5 minute majors on captain Joey Diamond, who was disqualified from the game. The Riverhawks would go on to tie it in the third, with the game eventually going to overtime. And in overtime Martin Ouellette would make an incredible save but then be taken out by his own player. The Riverhawks Derek Arnold takes advantage of what was essentially an empty net, ending the Black Bears season 2-1.
